Good tip BB2 . The next 5 days will be spent whittling a Boulmer Baikal Teal...from an elm burr with my swarmy...

Wind today up to 60 mph at Boulmer. A dead Tawny Owl ( I think?) was on the road at the same spot as the Barn Owl the other week near Red Row. Too light weight for this wind.

Yes, I saw the Tawny Owl too in the centre of the road across from the thick shelter belt. I tried to twitch the elm branch last night whilst out5 delivering but it was too dark ~:)

Foggy - there is not going to be a hurricane....

CD - Thats a pair of nail clippers.

G - I moved the elm branch. You wouldn't recognise it now cos I carved it into a flock of wigeon and put it on the coquet estuary.
