Thanks all. Yes I am a bit gung ho with the colour. I get a bit excited. A proper artist must find this drawing and painting lark easy, but I don't....still I'll keep at it cos I like it!

Nice bird! You kinda make the mining spoil and acid pools of Lynemouth look almost appealing..it didn't look like that in the pissing rain on Sunday morning!

I'm sure the Msselburgh bird a few years ago was in a similar picturesque setting. Love the painting and yes keep it up!
