Patch List 2011

I thought my list ( see right column) was a bit light. I have double checked and find that I have missed off a whopping - 17 species! They are -

Canada Goose
Tufted Duck
Manx Shearwater
Ringed Plover
Golden Plover
Common Sandpiper
Feral Pigeon
Sedge Warbler

Taking the list up to a respectable 154 ( 2010 - 161, 2009 - 147). some very common species there that have been overlooked.

Note to self, must do better with record keeping in 2012. I've been concentrating on the moths too much!

Not entirely related to the post Stu, but have to say how great the ivory gull sketch is!

154 sounds like a very good years work and that far away from last years 161.

John - Its the Montrose bird of 2001. Almost 10 years to the day!

Warren - Noted.

Alan - Yes, its not bad for what seemed like a quiet year with no real easterlies or fall conditions.

Hello Brian, You must have a few off your list? No Pheasant, Red legged Partridge, Canada Goose or Mandarin on there? Skemmies breed more frequently in the wild in the county than any of them!
