Catalonia...#2

Meadows above the village of Oix
A tiny mountain village called Oix ( pronounced how?) was superb for butterflies. There were stony tracks on a south facing slope with too much to take in really...

Meadow Fritillary
Osiris Blue on Sainfoin, its food plant.
Clouded (top) and Berger's Clouded Yellows.
Cleopatra was abundant with up to 6 on a plant.

Provence Chalkhill Blue
Sloe Hairstreak
Spanish Gatekeeper
Knapweed Fritillary
