Prickly Customers...



I've been pipped to the post...Kingsdowner blog has just done a post about Thistles along the south coast of Kent. I've been going to do this for a few weeks now and keep putting off, but here they are anyway. Above - Centre, Creeping Thistle, Clockwise from Top Left - Spear Thistle, Marsh Thistle, Welted Thistle and Slender Thistle.

Great for wildlife these lot, attracting Painted Ladies, Silver Y's and charms of dancing Goldfinches all can be found widely around Northumberland. Keep an eye out, all thistles aren't the same...
