Stork on...

White Stork on the nest in Eastern Slovakia taken May 2006. I've seen loads abroad but they elude me over here...

don't quite have storks in our garden BB but yesterday I watched a blackbird rooting around in the leaf litter for worms closely followed by two noisy still slighty fluffy youngsters who got fed everything he found. I suppose if they were storks it would be easier to guess where the nest was though. Not sure I would go to your lengths to see birds but it is terrific when they come to me to be seen

Guess what I saw tonight? Loads of swallows swooping low over the horses' field...

Nice to see you all looking out for stuff anyway.
Arthur - They are nice an early young'uns. Probably another two broods after this one.

M - Yes, the summer visitors are back with a vengeance ...
