Bunty.

You might think I have just abandoned the blog over recent weeks, but I just wasn't that interested.

Christmas has been a dreadful time for us.

Back in September our lovely Bunty had a small lesion on her eyebrow. After several visits to the vet and more lesions cropping up on her, some biopsies taken in November found that she had lymphoma, a type of cancer, and there was nothing we could do.

After battling with her illness for several weeks, our little raggy dog finally succumbed on 23rd December. We are now finding recovery very difficult indeed. She was our life. Even writing this is proving to be a task.

Anyway, I will leave you with a few pictures of how we remember her, as a firey little bundle of laughs. The next doggy to live here has some big shoes to fill...

  2. She's still with you Stewart - in the memories, the balls you will find in the garden, the forgotten treat in a pocket - they never really leave us.

  4. So sorry to here about Bunty Stew, and I completely understand how heart broken you are. We become so attached to our pets, don't we, and they become fully bonifide, paid up members of our family. In fact they are members of our family, and when we lose them we feel it so much, just as much as if a human member of our family has passed away. With time some equilibrium will return to your lives, and you will consider another furry friend, but until then you have my condolences.

    All the best, Seumus

We are so so sorry to read about little 'Bunty'
We know from bitter experience how hard it is too loose your beloved pet.
They give you so much love, friendship and loyalty ...in fact they are your best friend...always there for you and always happy to see you no matter what, and sadly when the time comes when we have to say goodbye to them it literally breaks your heart.
Rest in Peace little one free from pain.

  12. So sorry to hear about Buntys passing Stewart. She's been such a huge part of your life and the blogging sphere managing to get herself into a few photos over the year. I've just read that a new edition is in the home. Bunty can never be replaced, but that Patterdale x looks lovely. Take Care.
